The problem

Taking notes from a video means pause, screenshot, paste, type, and then losing track of which moment each screenshot came from.

The idea

Keep capturing and writing in a panel beside the video, and link every frame back to its timestamp so the notes stay connected to the source.

What I built

  1. A Chrome extension (Plasmo) that captures YouTube frames with timestamps and notes, organises captures by video and exports structured PDFs that link back to each moment.
  2. An authenticated PDF library on private Cloudflare R2 storage, with downloads and sharing controls per document.
  3. Recurring subscriptions and plan-based export limits with Dodo Payments.

Where it is now

Live at frame2pdf.com and on the Chrome Web Store, with a free plan that needs no card. Works on videos and Shorts.
